There will be door prizes as well. This year, we will have a photographer and your pictures will be printed and given to you the night of! $5 for the picture printed and $2 for every additional copy of the picture!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Victoria day weekend. I am reminding everyone of the upcoming YFC Core Group Assembly this coming Saturday. As much as we try to set a specific venue for all our CG's and to have it somewhere in Etobicoke it seems we can't get to make it happen. Anyway here are the details of our CG this weekend.

WHAT: YFC Core Group Assembly / YFC Conference Committee meeting
WHERE: Kalayaan Cultural Community
5225 Orbitor Drive, Mississauga, ON
WHEN: May 26 (Saturday) @ 1 - 5 pm

We will also conduct our first Conference Committee meeting. We will start assigning and distributing all assignments and initial conference preparation. We need all Chapter heads to be present if possible this Saturday. This will also be a good time to put together any concerns and ideas from our couple coordinators.

Hey Guys,

Here are the details to the Marmora Retreat this Good Friday. We're sending this out to everyone, for those going from our household and for the leaders that you've invited and are going as well. Please continue to encourage and invite people to come if they are not doing anything on this day.

Who: Anyone really. Emphasis on Leaders...

When: Friday, April 6th, 2007 | please read Meeting Place

Where: Marmora (We honestly don't know where it is exactly (1.5 - 2 hours away)

Meeting Place: The meeting place where we will all gather and start our travel time to Marmora will be on Mccowan and Finch (Scarborough). We will be meeting up at the McDonald's / Pizza Pizza at Woodside Square. Please be there @ 9:00AM that morning.

The Plan:

- We will go to Marmora

- Do the Stations of the Cross / Possibly the Rosary as well

- We will have a Potluck Lunch there

- Go Home

Food Situation:

- On this day, we will not be eating meat to stay constant with the Lenten Season. However, we can eat fish, bread, rice, vegetables, etc...

- If you can please help out in bringing food for this potluck.

What to Bring:

- Rosary

- Walking shoes (they could get dirty)

- Warm clothes (we are unsure of how cold it will be then, but be prepared)

Transportation:

- There will be CFC that will help provide the transportation there and back. However, just in case there is an excess number of people, and you know you can help in this area...please help if you can to provide transportation for others...

HERO CAMP WAS AWESOME! God is Good. It was a true blessing to have been given an experience that will never be forgotten. Let us use this new found Joy in our hearts to serve each other with truly the Love of God.

It is a great honor to be serving in this community and in Cluster 2. Ashley and I never cease to be amazed every time we think of how blessed we are to be serving with all of you.

Let's keep rolling the wheel of this amazing Christian life with Jesus Christ, the centre of all things good.

With that being said, we hope all you Chapter Heads can make it to the upcoming pastoral meeting. We will be finalizing all databases, appoint representatives for HSB and KFC, discuss the cycle of events and how to run them, AND last but not LEAST, PRE-CON. As you can see, this will be a VERY IMPORTANT meeting to attend.
